Why we choose soy

Soy wax is derived from vegetables (soybeans) and paraffin wax is derived from petroleum (a refined gasoline product). We were looking for a natural, renewable resource that was sourced here in the United states.

Fun Fact

Here is an interesting/fun fact about the history of soy wax wax. Soy wax was invented by a group of Purdue college students in 1996.  The students had to develop a birthday candle using a renewable resource.
